Varial X is constantly evolving to meet the needs of advanced riders in every style from weistylers to waveriders. In 2015, the Varial X received a completely new design, but retained its unrivaled performance. The Varial X has retained the basic concept of a sporty, four-line SL-C kite, but the shape of the kite has been completely redesigned to satisfy even the most demanding rider. Thanks to the updated shape of the canopy, tapering towards the ends, the updated shape of the ends and the location of the transverse balloons, it was possible to significantly expand the wind range, the kite began to restart better from the water and work out gusts of wind more softly. The Varial X combines high sporting potential with incredible ease of use, making it the perfect choice for a wide range of riders. Thanks to Teijin's new, reinforced fabric and Airush's unique Poly Load Frame design, this year's Varial X is even stronger.

In 2014 we received a lot of feedback on the 2014 Varial X, which is without a doubt a great kite. And we are faced with a difficult choice. Is it worth refining an already existing concept, or is it better to approach the matter from a completely different angle in order to satisfy the requirements of the riders. We decided to add a few Lithium chromosomes to the DNA of the Varial X in order to improve low wind power, improve the restart, but still retain the explosive power, agility and control that are the main advantages of this super kite.

SLC

Supported Leading Edge C-kite or SLC technology is designed to unlock the sporting potential of five line kites in a four line format. The SLC concept combines the arch and straight tips of a C-kite with the leading edge support of a hybrid. Thanks to this, the kite can combine maneuverability, informative control and a wide wind range.

V3 Bridle

Three pulley underdome bridle system has an incredibly powerful effect on kite control and improves your safety. The correct location of the line attachment points on the front balloon and high-quality blocks from Airush give a very wide range of attack angles of the kite. As a result, the kite has very light handling with crisp feedback and also continues to handle well with the bar pushed back, which is indispensable when riding waves.

Poly Load Frame

After the resounding success of the aramid power mesh on the Razor and Wave, Airush decided to bring this system to Lithium, Varial X and Diamond. This canopy design greatly improves structural integrity and prevents stretching of the kite material. This unique development is an original Airush innovation and is used only in our kites.
