The graphics were created by Kim Krans, an artist and author of The Wild Unknown Tarot by The New York Times. This art is a tribute to the strength and power of the killer whale. He used the traditional dotting technique to mimic the whale's body. The idea is that the Orca will guide you through the depths of the backcountry and the eye will be the compass along the way.
