The brand was born between Grosseto and the beaches of Maui, Hawaii. The first watersports products, signed by the young windsurfer Roberto Ricci, were filled with typical Italian creativity: this is how special boards, unique products, designed and made by hand, designed to win windsurfing competitions around the world, were born.
The first collections are based on ideas related to technical water sportswear inspired by nature: the Mediterranean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. This dual inspiration has made it possible to create clothing capable of combining the Mediterranean culture associated with the classical beauty and serenity of the "friendly" sea, with the more dynamic concept needed when crossing the ocean. Two completely different aspects that can coexist and complement each other.
This approach opens up a separate place in the world of fashion and equipment, combining technical excellence and Italian style. Today, RRD designs and manufactures clothing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, SUP and surfing products with heart and soul.
