Airush Razor was developed with the help of freestyle world champion Alex Pastor. The kite retains the feel and performance of a C-type, ideal for wakestyle and freestyle kiteboarding, as well as for mind-blowing kite loops. Airush comes in five series in 2017, the Razor comes in two of them, so the kite comes in two designs. The Razor is the flagship of the collection and has always been positioned as a kite for intermediate to pro riders. If you are already confident jumping, mastering or starting to master the unhooked and especially the interceptions or landings in the blind, then it is difficult to imagine something more suitable. The Razor is no longer a classic C-type, innovations and new technologies have left only the best of the classics, explosive rebounds and line slack, an informative bar and the most direct feel of the kite. However, the Razor is friendly, flies very stable, and de-powers well. The main advantage of Airush is the indestructible design of the kites. Razor was the first to experience Dyneema Load Frame reinforcement technology in 2014. And for the second year now, all Airush kites, except for the school series, are equipped with this feature. If in the first version the reinforcement was made with a kind of mesh, now it is those parts that are subjected to the greatest load that are directionally reinforced. Dyneema Load Frame combined with Technoforce D2 technology (double strand fabric) made the kite more resistant to stretch by 30 percent. Next Gen Dyneema Load Frame

Airush pioneered the Dyneema Load Frame. There are several advantages at once, and at the same time without compromising the total weight of the kite. Lightweight and strong mesh carries the entire load, preventing stretching of the fabric of the canopy and, at the same time, a significant deterioration in flight performance. Thanks to the Dyneema carcass, the canopy became stiffer, which improved the responsiveness and control of the kite. In hard crashes, damage is minimized.

Rear line adjustment

All Airush kites have the ability to quickly and easily adjust the kite's behavior to suit your individual preferences. If the ends to which the control lines are attached are moved closer to the HIGH sign, the load on the control bar will increase, and the speed of the kite turn will decrease. Sometimes this option helps when riding in very strong winds on small kites, 5-7 m. And if you move the tips closer to the trailing edge, then the pressure coming from the kite to the bar decreases, and the wing turns become faster.

Kevlar reinforcements

All parts of the kite that are most susceptible to abrasion are protected by Kevlar inserts. Kevlar, which is used in the manufacture of bulletproof vests, as well as in the aviation and space industries, reliably protects the kite and at the same time does not affect the overall weight at all. Kevlar fabric is very light, one meter of it weighs only 50-60 grams.

Single Point Inflation System

The whole inflatable frame of the kite is integrated into one system and is inflated through one valve. The air tubes connecting the cylinders to each other have an increased diameter. This not only inflates the kite evenly and quickly, but also deflates very quickly for a compact package. And due to the thickened walls, the tubes are less prone to fracture.
